The HarzOptics team is comprised of employees of Harz University under the auspices of the Dean for Research and Knowledge Transfert - Communications-Technology Professor Ulrich Fischer Hirchert. The company was founded in 2006 to support optical research in the Harz region and to contribute to the region's technological development. The goal of HarzOptics is to help and support other optics companies to get a foothold in Saxony-Anhalt and to start a mini competence cluster in the region.
