Wire Bonding, Fiber Lenses and other Services...

HarzOptics offers a wide variety of products and services aside from our lab systems and the measurement and R&D services, including wire bonding services (ball and wedge bonding).

Among those products are our so-called fiber lenses. Optical components (e.g. laser modules) and glass fibers often have an unequal mode field distribution. To increase the coupling efficiency, fiber lenses can be used as adaptors. Fiber lenses are fiber ends shaped to lens form and are also called faser tapers. HarzOptics can produce and ship small quantities of tapers for single mode, multi mode and photonic bandgap fibers - including highly accurate measurement protocols.

You can find more info about fiber lenses on out fiber info page: http://faserlinsen.harzoptics.de

On the non-technical side, HarzOptics offers a diverse portfolio of economic services, including planning and execution of market research projects. We can also support you in developing science oriented business plans and applying for federal research grants

The following list gives an overview of additional products and services:

  • Preparation of technical appraisals (photonics)
  • Production of fiber lenses (SMF, MMF, bandgap)
  • Wire bonding (ball and wedge bonding possible)
  • Production of fiber chip couplings
  • Measurements of optical networks
  • Planning and execution of market research projects
  • Support of scientific money grant requests
  • Employee coaching in optics/photonics
  • Support of business plan development
  • Design and programming of websites
Our strategic partner for all market research projects is Reinboth Statistics Consultancy.
